Sujen charcoal is primarily composed of pure carbon with a microporous structure that allows it to absorb or bind various molecules. Additionally, the residue from burning bamboo contains mineral oxides such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium, which are alkaline and provide a neutralizing effect. This charcoal also releases negative ions that can help counteract oxidation and stabilize the surrounding pH.
